Solicitation Policy

AEGON Direct & Affinity Marketing Services Co.,Ltd (ADAMS Japan) hereby establishes the following policy on sale and solicitation for insurance products, as a “financial instruments dealer etc.” conducting marketing businesses related to sale and solicitation for insurance products as described under Article 2, Paragraph 3 of the Law on Sales of Financial Products, based on strong relations of partnership with its business partners.

Proposal of the Most Suitable Products
We will strive to explain and provide products in accordance with the intentions and actual circumstances of customers, taking into comprehensive consideration matters such as customers’ knowledge of insurance, their reasons for purchase, their purchase experience, and their financial conditions.

Appropriate Solicitation
We will give full consideration to matters such as the hours and locations of solicitation, from the customer’s point of view.

Explanation of Important Matters
We will strive to explain important matters concerning products in appropriate ways in accordance with their methods of sale, so that customers can understand them correctly.

Protection of Personal Information
To protect personal information and privacy, we will handle properly and manage strictly information concerning customers, in compliance with ADAMS Japan’s Privacy Policy, giving full consideration to protection of customers’ rights and interests.

Compliance with Various Laws, Regulations, etc.
We will comply with the Insurance Business Law, the Law on Sales of Financial Products, the Consumer Contract Law, the Personal Information Protection Law, and other relevant laws, regulations, etc.

Handling of complaints and consultation
We will respond in good faith to various inquiries from customers and utilize customer opinions, requests, and other feedback in sales activities to increase customer satisfaction further. Please direct any inquiries to the following liaison.
